The CFR engines perform the Research Octane Number (RON), Motor Octane Number (MON) and Cetane Number rating of spark-ignition engine fuels. These features are very important, because the Octane Number defines the antiknock value of fuels, whereas the Cetane Number defines their spark-ignition capacity. European Technology Srl offers its customers two kinds of CFR testing apparatus: the type F1/F2 for Octane Number rating and F5 for Cetane Number rating. |
