General

Lovibond® optical cells are used in all kinds of spectrophotometers, fluorometers, absorptiometers and colorimeters all over the world. The accuracy of results obtained with these instruments partly depends from the used cell accuracy.
Lovibond® cells are made through a specially developed fusion process, which renders them acids- and chemicals resistant. Highest quality materials are used and all Lovibond® cells are checked for their quality and accuracy.

Liquid reference standards

The benefit of liquid reference standards is that they can be used with the provided cell to control any liquid measurement instrument, not only Lovibond® ones. This means that operator can verify the inter-instrument concordance between different instruments. In the meanwhile, it is possible to check application and how samples are prepared and presented to the instrument; in other words, to make sure that no fingerprints are on the cell or, in the event of heated samples, no thermal current are in the liquid sample.

Confidence in colour measurement

For a regular conformity verification, certificated reference solutions are provided with full traceability to internationally recognised standards or to ISO/IEC 17025:2000 (ASTM Colour, Saybolt and Gardner Colour) or to ISO 9001:2000 quality system (Pt-Co Unit). This confirms they have been produced and inspected under the ISO 9001:2000 quality system control by The Tintometer Ltd.

Special cells

Lovibond® special cells department is available to manufacture any cell type according to customers requirements, provided that such cell is technically feasible. Quotes for special cells will be sent after the reception of drawings or diagrams with relevant details for the material and the exact measures.

All Lovibond® spectrophotometer cells are supplied in attractive expositive boxes Other cell types are suitably packaged and shipped according to ordered sizes and quantity.
